Multifunction wall scanner features five scanning modes:

1. Stud ½ in. scan: Locates the center and edges of wood and metal studs up to ½ in. (13 mm) deep

2. Stud 1 in. scan: Locates the center and edges of wood and metal studs up to 1 in. (25 mm) deep

3. Stud 1½ in. scan: Locates the center and edges of wood and metal studs up to 1½ in. (38 mm) deep

4. Metal Scan: Detects metal up to 2.36 in.(60mm) deep
